Product Overview

CM Aquatechnik designs, manufactures, and supplies complete skid-mounted industrial RO systems from 0.5 m³/h to 500 m³/h. Each system is engineered to your specific feed water quality, with pre-treatment (multimedia filtration, softening, cartridge filtration, antiscalant dosing), high-pressure pump, membrane array, and post-treatment (degassing, UV disinfection, remineralisation) as required.

All systems are PLC-controlled with a colour touchscreen HMI, automatic CIP capability, online conductivity/TDS monitoring, and remote access via Modbus or OPC-UA. Stainless steel 316L skid construction with CE marking. Comprehensive O&M documentation and FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) included.

Large RO plants are usually protected by high flow filter cartridges, which replace dozens of standard cartridges in the pre-filtration stage.

Frequently asked questions

What pre-treatment does an industrial RO system need?

The pre-treatment is engineered from your feed water analysis and typically combines multimedia filtration, softening, cartridge filtration and antiscalant dosing. Where the feed water contains chlorine, dechlorination is also required to protect the polyamide membranes. Correct pre-treatment is the key to stable permeate quality and a long membrane life.

What recovery rate can I expect from an RO system?

Recovery rates typically range from 50 to 85%, depending on the feed water quality. The achievable value is mainly limited by the scaling potential of dissolved salts such as hardness and silica in the concentrate, and it is influenced by antiscalant dosing and the options for concentrate disposal. We define the recovery target together with you during system design.

How is the RO system operated and maintained?

The system runs automatically under PLC control with a colour touchscreen HMI, online conductivity monitoring and automatic chemical dosing, and it can be integrated into your SCADA system via Modbus TCP/RTU or OPC-UA. Routine tasks include replacing pre-filter cartridges, topping up chemicals and running a CIP cleaning when membrane performance declines. Comprehensive O&M documentation is supplied with every system.

What information do you need for a quotation?

Please send us a recent feed water analysis, the required permeate capacity and quality, the expected operating hours, the intended application, any post-treatment requirements such as degassing, UV disinfection or remineralisation, the available installation space and power supply, your preferred control system or SCADA interface and the options available for concentrate discharge. Send us your requirements and we will prepare a proposal within 48 hours.
