Product Overview
CM Aquatechnik designs and supplies fully skid-mounted chemical dosing systems for coagulant, flocculant, antiscalant, pH adjustment, disinfection, and scale inhibitor applications in water and wastewater treatment plants. Each skid is self-contained with chemical storage tanks, agitators, peristaltic or diaphragm metering pumps, piping, valves, level monitoring, and a dedicated PLC control panel.
Dosing rate is automatically adjusted in response to flow signal, pH, turbidity, or ORP inputs from the process, ensuring consistent chemical consumption and treatment performance across variable load conditions.
Frequently asked questions
Which metering pump type is right for my application?
Peristaltic pumps are well suited to viscous or gassing chemicals and polymer solutions, while motor and solenoid diaphragm pumps are widely used for precise dosing of coagulants, acids, caustics and antiscalants. The selection depends on the chemical, the required flow within the range of 0.01–1,000 L/h and the back pressure at the injection point.
How is the dosing rate controlled?
The PLC adjusts the dosing rate automatically from a flow, pH, turbidity or ORP signal, using 4–20 mA, pulse or Modbus communication. Flow-proportional dosing with pH or ORP feedback trim prevents over- and under-dosing at variable flows.
What safety features are included?
Each skid has a secondary containment bund holding 110% of the largest chemical tank, together with level alarms and overpressure relief. Piping is in chemical-resistant PVDF/PP with PTFE-lined valves, and ATEX-rated options are available for chemical storage buildings in hazardous areas.
What information do you need for a quotation?
Please provide the chemicals to be dosed and their concentration, the treated water flow and its range of variation, the required dose or target value (for example pH), the required storage volume, the signals available for control and the installation area, including any ATEX requirements. Send us your requirements and we will prepare a proposal within 48 hours.
