Product Overview
CM Aquatechnik supplies precision chemical metering pumps for antiscalant, acid, caustic, coagulant, flocculant, disinfectant, and corrosion inhibitor dosing in water treatment systems. Available in peristaltic (hose) and motor-driven diaphragm designs from 0.1 to 1,000 L/h, with manual and automated (flow-paced, pH-paced) control options.
Frequently asked questions
Which type of dosing pump is right for my application?
Solenoid diaphragm pumps are ideal for precise low-volume dosing below 5 L/h, while motor-driven diaphragm pumps cover larger flows and back-pressures up to 16 bar with ±1.5% accuracy. Peristaltic (hose) pumps work against up to 5 bar and are well suited to viscous or gassing chemicals such as polymers, as the liquid only contacts the hose.
Which materials are used for the dosing head and seals?
Dosing heads are available in PVC, PVDF and SS316L, and seals and valves in EPDM, PTFE or Viton. The combination is selected for chemical compatibility with the specific acid, alkali, oxidant or polymer being dosed.
Can the dosing rate be controlled automatically?
Yes. Pumps accept a 4–20 mA or pulse input, so the dosing rate can follow a water meter for flow-proportional dosing or a pH controller for pH-paced dosing; manual adjustment is also possible. An automatic degassing valve prevents air locking in CO₂ or hypochlorite service.
What information do you need for a quotation?
Please tell us the chemical and its concentration, the minimum and maximum dosing rate, the back-pressure at the injection point, the required control signal (manual, pulse or 4–20 mA), the available power supply and whether the pump will be installed in a hazardous area requiring ATEX certification. Send us your requirements and we will prepare a proposal within 48 hours.
