Product Overview
CM Aquatechnik supplies replacement and new PVDF hollow-fibre membrane modules for MBR and UF systems. We supply compatible modules for major OEM systems (TORAY, Kubota, Memcor, PURON/Koch) and also supply generic high-performance PVDF hollow-fibre modules at competitive pricing for new-build systems and MBR retrofits.
Frequently asked questions
Which MBR and UF systems are your membrane modules compatible with?
We supply direct replacement modules for TORAY, Kubota, Memcor and Koch PURON systems, built to the original OEM dimensions. For new-build plants and retrofits, generic high-performance PVDF hollow-fibre modules are also available.
How is the required number of membrane modules calculated?
The design permeate flow is divided by the net operating flux, typically 12–25 LMH for these modules, to give the total membrane area required. The number of modules then follows from the selected module size of 25–150 m², with allowances for peak flows, MLSS concentration and cleaning downtime.
How are the membranes cleaned and maintained?
The PVDF hollow fibres are backwashed at up to 0.7 bar and are compatible with chemically enhanced backwash (CEB) using sodium hypochlorite, citric acid or sodium hydroxide. PVDF tolerates chlorine CEB concentrations of up to 3,000 mg/L, which helps to restore permeability and maintain stable operation.
What information do you need for a quotation?
Please tell us the manufacturer and type of your existing modules (for replacements), the design permeate flow, the feed water or mixed liquor quality including MLSS, the available tank dimensions and your current cleaning regime. Send us your requirements and we will prepare a proposal within 48 hours.
